Is it an original plaster step cornice which comes from one of the houses in Lennox Gardens from the 20th century. The size of the rooms and ceilings in the house is significant, the same as cornicing. The cornice pattern is longer on the ceiling which gives the impression of the ceiling being higher mainly because of the steps. Also, the steps extend the wall by making it look longer than it is.
