FIVE STEPPED

Simple cornice with five plain steps. Depending on the way it is fitted, it either makes the ceiling look higher or lower. In the 16th and 17th century stepped decorations appeared in Danish medieval churches. Now, step cornices belong to a modern style group for its simplicity and plainness.
