An original cornice comes from one of the buildings dated from the 19th century in Pemberton Road. This particular cornice is from a medium sized room with a rather low ceiling. On the whole, the cornice is very plain, but it has the rail on the wall part of the cornice. In the past cornices were made directly on the ceiling. Therefore it is difficult to find an exact matching cornice.
